I'm watching STEVEN SEAGAL LAWMAN (I know, I know) and they're doing FATS training. He's doing some of the exact same scenarios that I did at WPA. Though I have to say, I did them better :)
Now...I have to tell you that Steven Seagal has terrible trigger control. I don't know who taught him how to shoot, but you use the pad of your index finger, you DO NOT wrap your big monkey finger through the trigger guard and use the second joint of your index finger to push your bang button.
Speak for yourself stubby fingers. Some of us can perform endoscopy with our booger hooks and have no alternative but to find optional trigger placement locations.
Having said that...Seagal is a no talent meat head. There I said it, and I feel better. No. I'm not jealous that he's made a career out of playing one character.
Alright, Monkey Fingers K, shoot however you'd like, but I'm going to continue to use the pad of my index finger just like I'm supposed to.
And I absolutely agree about Seagal. He's a total tool. I was in the process of hunting for the remote to change the channel when I saw that they were doing FATS training.
Well in his defense, and I would NEVER defend him, he IS a neanderthal.
Stubby fingers versus Monkey fingers....BBWWWAAAAHHHHAAAA!!!!
there might be a smack down in the making here.....*snicker*
Laugh all you want, but I improved my handgun shooting form by watching NCIS. I was all over the paper until I pictured Kate and Tony shooting at the range. The next three rounds were in a 1 1/2" group. Of course, I still suck but that's mostly because I never practice haha
BK - whatever helps you. Learn from where ever you can, just be safe about it. I just personally think that Seagal's, well, a tool.
I would love to get to do some of the training that Tom Cruise gets to do - now that man can shoot wings off a fly. He may be a little loco in real life, but the man can shoot.
Apparently, according to Mrs Mom, so can Seagal.
Seagal is a one note knuckle head but the man can shoot. If you have ever seen him shoot in real life the man is damned deadly with his 1911. I agree he is a bit of an ass but he also VOLUNTEERED 20 years of his life as an unpaid deputy down in La and that deserves some respect. They talked HIM into doing the show...not the other way around.
Ha. I think the same thing when I watch the show. LMAO.
